That’s why Bermalion’s aesthetic play induces us to leap together into the game of memory. Through colors that course through past and present, we will break with Bermalion the veil of time and makes the past visible in the now. The spectator is invited to cross the canvas’ surface, entering the scene in order to participate in answering the painting’s question. The subject intertwines with the figures that emerge from the color and lines, and with what hides in the details of meaning and metaphor.
