Born in the village of Tabloha - Tala Markaz - Menoufia Governorate, 1963. Graduated from the Graphic Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, Cairo, with honors, 1987. Professor & Head of the Graphic Department and Former Elected Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Minya, from 2011 to 2015 - Obtained a mission to Germany from 1995 to 1997 to complete his PhD studies at the University of Erfurt - Germany. Sakr studied lithography extensively at the same university, and studied manual paper and its pulp. Sakr held 52 special exhibitions in photography, drawing, engraving, and composite works in Egypt and abroad. He won 25 local and international awards, the most important of which is the State Award for Excellence in Arts, 2020, the State Encouragement Award in Graphics for the year 2001. First prize at the Fifth Cairo Biennale 1995, Grand Prize and Oscar at the Alexandria Biennale 2003. 6 prizes in the 6 first sessions of the Youth Salon in Cairo between drawing, photography and installation artwork. Participated in more than 125 international and local group exhibitions, participated in more than 40 international workshops in graphics, photography and sculpture, has collections in Egyptian and foreign museums with individuals in Egypt and abroad (America, Germany, Spain, Italy, Finland, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Syria, Austria, Denmark, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Serbia, Croatia, Slovakia, Moldova, Japan, China, Greece, He had participated in many local & international arbitration committee. A member of many associations and federations, the most important of which is a founding member of the China Art Edition Association 2016.
